The research community at University of Gothenburg (GU) is the largest Language Technology (LT), also known as Natural Language Processing (NLP) or computational linguistics, research group in Scandinavia and one of the largest in Europe. The research is spread over (at least) four departments in two faculties.

- Språkbanken Text, Department of Swedish, multilingualism, language technology
- Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)
- Department of Applied Information Technology (AIT)
In this website we gather these groups and their activities under one umbrella while aiming to promote language technology research in Gothenburg.
